LWML/WOMEN IN MISSION ACTIVITIES
Arizona Womens Retreat Sept 23-25
The annual Arizona LWML retreat will be held September 23-25, 2011 at Camp Aloma. Speaker Melissa Salomon will lead the retreat topic of Living and Learning, Heart to Heart. Cost is $100 which includes 5 meals and materials. Music will be led by Mia Koehne and worship will be led by Rev. Jeff Ehlers. Registration begins August 1, 2011. Ocotillo/Palo Verde Zone 27/30 Fall Rally Oct 8th
The Fall Rally will be held at Christ Church Lutheran, Phoenix, with registration beginning at 9 AM and opening devotions at 9:30 AM. The theme for the rally is titled, A Miracle in the Desert for Homeless Children. The guest speaker is Carol Whitworth with Sunshine Acres, Mesa. The registration fee is $10.00. The Ingathering will be for Sunshine Acres; please bring hygiene products or gift cards from WalMart, Walgreens, or CVS Pharmacy.
